Who runs it

Buckeye Sports Betting is published by —, based in Ohio. It is an independent publication. It is not a sportsbook, it does not accept wagers, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any of the operators reviewed on it.

This site does not publish predictions, tips, or selections. Its scope is limited to comparing publicly advertised welcome promotions: what each is worth in withdrawable cash, what is required to claim it, and the terms that apply.

How the rankings are decided

The order on the homepage is set by a published, repeatable method, and commission plays no part in it. In order of weight:

1. Realistic cash value. The amount the offer converts to in withdrawable money, rather than the advertised headline. For bet-and-get offers this is face value × 0.67, the rate typically achievable when covering bonus bets at a second sportsbook. For first-bet offers it is an expected value calculation, since those pay out only when the qualifying wager loses. Each review shows the calculation in full.
2. Stake required. The amount of your own money that must be placed on a settled wager before the bonus is credited. Offers requiring a small qualifying wager rank above those requiring a four-figure stake, even where the latter carries a higher converted value.
3. Payout structure. A single credit ranks above the same value issued in ten increments, since each increment requires its own covering wager.
4. Expiry window, odds restrictions, and withdrawal speed break ties.

Ratings are out of 5 and follow the same criteria. Where an offer carries significant limitations, the review states them — see the BetMGM and Caesars reviews, both of which require substantially larger stakes than the offers ranked above them.

How the site makes money
